Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant.
Full Time 8.30am - 5pm
Current Location - Oswestry, Shropshire.

Border Janitorial Supplies Ltd is an established B2B Company operating around the Powys, West Wales and Shropshire area. We provide a wide range of professional cleaning and hygiene products along with an outstanding support package to commercial and public organisations.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the team in a varied range of duties. The right candidate will be enthusiastic about customer service and committed to maintaining the quality of our brand. You will be part of a small team of competent and friendly people who enjoy a pleasant environment within a growing family owned business.

We may be able to offer slightly lower hours of approx 8.30am - 4pm for an exceptional candidate if required.

The candidate will be required to assist in three main duties:

Delivery duties, Tasks include picking and delivering goods mainly in the Powys and Shropshire areas but further areas would be required, driving large panel vans (usually Ford transit).

Warehouse duties, Tasks include handling goods which will require use of a forklift and manual handling, general goods in/out duties, vehicle, building and grounds hygiene and maintenance.

Please note: Loading and un-loading vans has regular elements of manual labour involving weights up to 25kg.

We will provide all necessary training but the candidate will require the following:-

A clean driving license (Allowing for very minor points)

Have the communication skills to deal with customers and your colleagues in a pleasant manner

Maths and English school level qualification

We also require employees to have DBS checks for our customers

The following would be an advantage:

Forklift license – or previous experience

Manual handling training/certificate

First aid training/certificate

Hours 8.30am – 5.00pm Mon - Fri

Annual Holidays 20 (22 after 2 years) plus 8 bank holidays. (pro-rata of days/hours worked)

Salary: £24,400.00 per year
