To strengthen our Immunology Europe Digital Strategy and Capability department, based in our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, Slough, UK, Monheim, Germany, Paris, France, Madrid, Spain or Milan, Italy we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Digital Channel Specialist.


The digital channel specialist is a critical role in driving the transformation of our omnichannel data & analytics driven Go-to-Market (G2M) model and in innovating the way we collaborate and interact with our customers.


The role reports into the Immunology Europe Digital Strategy and Capability Lead and is integral part of immunology EU Strategic Operations teams and requires proven expertise around an array of digital channels such as social media, e-mail marketing, 3rd party advertisement, programmatic, google search / display advertising, marketing automation, and mobile tools which translate business strategies into effective digital solutions.

  • be responsible for the definition of digital channel and capabilities strategy, the successful optimization of existing digital channels and identification of new channels to reach our business goals in support of the iPVU (Immunology Patient Value Unit) strategic imperatives.
  • closely cooperate with global, regional and local teams to identify required digital channel capability needs. You will be responsible of ensuring on time delivery, supporting the development, implementation and continuous improvement / maintenance across the geographies.


You will contributeby:


  • Developing channel strategy to enhance digital customer engagement and support the iPVU strategy. Identifying opportunities to set new direction to improve HCP (Healthcare Professional Partners) and Patient channel experience. Supporting the Digital Strategy & Capabilities Team in the creation of the service portfolio.

  • Creating strong collaboration with Asset and Solutions teams, Medical, and field operations to enhance the G2M through digital channels. Close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders for planning, development, integration and implementation of capabilities

  • Identifying, deploying and maintaining digital channel capabilities including;
  • definition of best practices / standards, templates, process flows, operational management, roles & responsibilities, foundational performance and qualitative metrics, playbooks.
  • organizing training, roll-out a toolset for channel activation, vendor selection and management.
  • establishing operational excellence to deliver high quality and cost-effective output in each digital channel.

  • Defining, in collaboration with wider team, of meaningful and measurable KPIs and metrics concerning adoption, impact, effectiveness of digital capabilities. Monitoring of those, taking conclusions and provide advice on possible actions.

  • Communicating, educating and training internal stakeholders. Ensure right level of adoption and usage of the capabilities within the organization (key users are clear on how and why to start, develop and optimize the channels). Facilitate, communicate and actively promote digital organizational intends, concepts and best practices and influence their flowless adoption across organization and geographies. Participate to the continuous improvement of operational processes.

  • Responsible for a continuous benchmarking of working methods, tools and processes. You will continually assess and identify new opportunities for digital capabilities to be brought in house and evolve the EU iPVU omnichannel capabilities.

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in business or digital marketing and digital communication and have at least 3-5 years of relevant experiences in a digital working environment at a company or agency side.

  • You have developed your understanding of user journey optimization & user experience and can demonstrate experience across various digital channels including social media, e-mail, 3rd party advertisement, programmatic, display advertising, marketing automation.

  • You are experienced and creative in targeting and devising digital campaigns to engage, inform and motivate. You use analysis tools such as Google Analytics and problem solving. You are passionate about digitalization and transformative processes with an advanced knowledge of related trends and constant strive for incremental innovation

  • You thrive in complex, rapidly changing environment that includes a sense of urgency. You enjoy working in collaboration with teams and influencing, and you recognize yourself as an independent and accountable self-starter.
