A forward-thinking Catholic primary school in the heart of Birmingham, known for its dedication to improvement and excellence, is inviting applications for a Class Teacher position starting in September 2024. Responsibilities
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inspiring classroom environment.
- Uphold the school’s Catholic values in all teaching practices and behaviours
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress and well-being.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including involvement in extracurricular activities and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- A commitment to upholding the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
- Experience in teaching at the primary level, demonstrating a track record of effective teaching and classroom management.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Excellent organizational and communicative skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire pupils and foster relationships built on mutual respect.
- A proactive approach to continuing professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
