About The Role

RAC have a new opportunity for a De-fleet and Commission Technician to join our expanding team in Walsall on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. You will be supporting our roadside operations to manage our de-fleet and re-issuing of company property.

Shift Patterns for the role are Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00

What you’ll do:

  • Supporting the reissue of Patrol Tools and equipment reducing operational costs
  • Disassemble components within company vehicles and remove livery on vehicles at the end of their lease cycle
  • Valeting vehicles and supporting the commission process
  • Travelling to and from suppliers – Company vehicle will be provided

What you’ll need:

  • A good knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Excellent organisation skills including time management with willingness to accept accountability of work
