Reporting to our Assistant Director of Data, the Data Engineer will develop an innovative and high impact data platform. Building and maintaining strong relationships with Business Stakeholders, you will develop a data platform in Azure based on documented requirements and develop and deliver end-to-end Microsoft BI solutions on data. You will apply logical common-sense pragmatism to understand and address Business requirements with appropriate data and technology choices, and ensure code, testing and released are delivered against agreed standards. This role will be at the forefront of enabling organisational change, as we evolve as an innovative, digitally focused housing association. The ideal candidate will: * Have experience in a data delivery role. * Have experience of implementing data solutions using modern technologies and automation methodologies within Azure (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Services, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, Power Platform & Power BI). * Have significant knowledge and experience of delivering data models for analytical purposes. * Have specific experience of dimensional modelling and data management techniques. * Be able to demonstrate Microsoft technologies confidently and articulate the strengths of the technology and shape these messages around specific business challenges. * Have excellent delivery skills with proven track record of delivering large scale change on time and to budget. * Be a confident decision maker with the ability to explain processes or choices as needed.
