Cignpost Diagnostics is a company with huge ambition and currently in hyper growth mode following its fabulous success in making safe working spaces for the film and Elite sports industries among others. Now we are expanding rapidly to open up business and travel through Covid-19 testing but ultimately have our eye on using our Science, Data and Logistics expertise to bring testing to everyone for better health. It’s a fast paced and exciting company full of people that just love making a difference to customers.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, there has been a substantial increase in the number of organisations requesting our expertise. To meet rising volumes, we are seeking to recruit COVID-19 Accounts Payable Clerk to join our existing national team of operatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.
  • Create reporting dashboards for the Commercial ExpressTest team.
  • Provide actionable data insights for the ExpressTest team, pulling data from various sources including Finance, Operations, Salesforce.com, Google Analytics, and various third party sources.
  • Set up and maintain automated data processes
  • Identify, evaluate and implement tools and processes to support data validation and cleansing to ensure reporting is accurate.
  • Produce and track key performance indicators
  • Develop and support reporting processes
  • Monitor and audit data quality
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
  • Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Design and carry out surveys and analyse survey data
  • Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets and turn them into usable outputs to inform decision-making.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools
  • Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations
  • Provide sector and competitor benchmarking and support in competitive intelligence gathering.

Role Requirements
  • Excellent at presenting data visually and using BI tools like Looker/Tableau/Microsoft BI to do so (Microsoft BI preferred)
  • Strong SQL skills - able to extract, manipulate, transform and analyse large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy
  • R or Python skills desired but not required
  • Excellent attention to detail - you value getting things right
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Extensive knowledge of data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques
  • Capacity to develop and document procedures and workflows
  • Ability to carry out data quality control, validation and linkage
  • Understanding of data protection issues
  • Awareness and knowledge of airline industry-specific databases and data sets
  • Experience of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
