  • Salary –£55-65k base plus benefits

Overview

To set, lead and manage, in conjunction with 2nd line DPO team, the approach and frameworks for effective Information Security, IT Compliance Cyber Security, bringing thought leadership in proactively minimising key technology risk areas, to support the delivery of safe, secure and reliable IT services and solutions, aligned to the overall IT strategy, meeting all compliance, governance, regulatory and quality standards.

  • Developing, leading and managing the end-to-end planning, communication, training, delivery, assessment and continuous improvement of a consistent business risk-based InfoSec & Cyber Security approach, that aligns to and supports the delivery of the overall IT strategy and wider business needs
  • Developing, managing and delivering IT Cyber Security projects from initiation to implementation with a continuous improvement and collaboration focus
  • Leading and delivering operational Governance, Info Sec & Cyber Security team aligned to industry Security practices and standards, contingency planning and incident response across extended supply chain and the wider business, minimising incidents and adverse events, enabling safe, secure and compliant IT and business operation
  • Managing and monitoring the commercial and effective performance of Information/Cyber Security provision, maximising opportunities and minimising costs
  • Building, managing and monitoring activity and routine reports, raising awareness and adherence across the IT directorate and wider business
  • Managing, developing and maximising the performance and potential of the InfoSec & Cyber Security team.
