To Succeed At F-Secure And Help Our Clients With Their Challenges You Will Need To Be Geared Up With The Following

A passion for security! You love computers, you love security and you love hacking things and solving problems. If this weren’t your job it would be your hobby.

Self-motivation! You’re not going to be told what to do all the time. You are capable of figuring out what is of benefit to F-Secure and our clients and then run with it. We will give you the tools to succeed, but it is up to you to apply them.

Communication skills! How can we add value to our clients’ organizations unless we can tell them what we did, how we did it and how they can fix it? But communication also extends to sharing your knowledge with your colleagues and the wider industry.

Job Duties
  • Provide tailored, pragmatic security advice at any level within the client’s organization
  • Scoping of client work to ensure that expectations are set and met.
  • Contribution to research and tool development, both internally and externally
  • Internal and external blog posts
What are we looking for?

What we really want is people with an unbridled technolust and insatiable appetite for learning. We are looking for people who love what they do, and do what they love. If you are an effective penetration tester that knows how to break applications and traverse complex networks, this might be your next gig!

We are looking for consultants that know how to dig deep and find interesting problems. If you like adding CVEs to your CV, then perhaps F-Secure is exactly where you want to be.

Bonus Points
  • Previous consulting experience
  • Deep understanding of security principles
  • CREST and/or Offensive Security certifications like OSCP, OSEP, OSCE
  • You have strong opinions about Vim vs Nano

We don’t expect you to be an expert in every area of security. We will invest in your development, by offering you a variety of training and tools in the areas you are particularly interested in:
  • 1 to 1 coaching and tutorship sessions led by seasoned and well-respected professionals.
  • Access to our state-of-the-art bespoke training platform.
  • You will also receive classroom-based learning sessions and be given the opportunity to attend external training courses and security conferences.
  • We will also fund accreditations and certifications such as (but not limited to): OSCP, OSEP, CRT, CSPA or GIAC. That’s up to you though, certifications are not a barrier to entry and they aren’t a mandate for our people as they progress either.
