Our Opening and Your Responsibilities


Order Entry: Prompt and accurate inputting of customer orders.

  • Log and distribute orders, prepare orders for order entry, checking price and part numbers
  • Create an order in SAP to match the customers purchase order and/or follow up from an official quote

After Sales

  • Arrange credit/debit notes, returns authorisation notes & invoice queries of existing and new accounts across all sales divisions
  • Resolve/expedite customer complaints promptly and efficiently. Instigate preventative action as required to prevent further occurrence
  • Monitor the progress of orders with SAP
  • Improving delivery dates

Inbound phone calls

  • Answer calls in a timely & professional manner
  • Deal with customer phone enquiries on day of receipt or provide SLA if this is not possible
  • Use questioning skills to establish where the call needs to be transferred to where necessary
  • Provide 1st call resolution whenever possible

Internal communication

  • Work closely with finance, order fulfilment and UK Logistics and European Hub, to maintain customer satisfaction and speed of delivery

Other

  • Administration duties, filing, handling post, archiving
  • Assist with the booking of regular recycling collections
  • Run daily reports & take any necessary actions
  • Support the Purchasing department
  • Any other reasonable requests

What You Need to Succeed
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in Excel & Outlook
  • Knowledge of SAP desirable
  • Strong team player
