Job Description:

As a Customer Services Assistant, you’ll be at the forefront of our business, offering friendly customer service with a smile. You’ll be involved in a range of activities, from keeping the store stocked and tidy, serving our valued customers at the checkout and handling cash, to promoting membership. You may also get involved with date monitoring and price checking activities, alongside a host of other tasks. You can be sure that no two days are the same in our stores, but each time you’ll go home with a real sense of achievement!

We will discuss working hours at interview with you, however our stores are open when our customers need us. We need candidates to be flexible of when they’re willing to work, which may include working evenings and weekends.

Candidate Requirements:

We’d love to hear from people who have previous experience in a retail environment, however this isn’t essential as full training will be provided. You’ll need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, good literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to apply these in the workplace. You’ll be able to work well in a team and support your colleagues during busy trading times. We are looking for a confident communicator, a real people person who is able to offer the quality of service our members and customers expect.
