Our Library and Customer Services network is based across 26 East Riding sites, delivering support and high-quality enquiry, library and information services to our local residents. We’re recruiting for a Customer Service Supervisor to join Hessle Multi Service Centre, to supervise a team of 5 Customer Services Assistants.

The role of Customer Service Supervisor includes a variety of responsibilities including;

  • Managing, leading, motivating and developing a small team of Customer Service Assistants
  • Providing effective management of the library and customer service operations at the centre
  • Engaging with customers and local partners to develop and promote our services
  • Supporting activities within the centre such as storytime, book groups and tech time
  • liaising with other council departments to provide the very best outcomes to our local residents
