Customer Service Representative

Office address: BMI House, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes, MK11 3LW (Head Office for our UK & Ireland business)

Please note that this role is Monday - Friday (40 hour week). We have adapted our office environment to make it safe for our employees to use in this current climate.

BMI is a strong leader within the roofing industry and we’re looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative/Agent to join our team.

This is an exciting full time position where you will be instantly adding value and becoming an important member of the team.

The Role

As a Customer Service Representative your role is to deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with both internal and external customers. You’ll be delivering excellent customer service over the phone to both internal and external customers and building positive business relationships.

The role includes high volume inbound and outbound end to end call management. You must have experience dealing and managing queries start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal with all customer queries (phone and email) efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure accuracy of order processing (SAP), including correct pricing to eliminate any invoice pricing queries
  • Manage any supply or delivery issues to ensure OTIF target is achieved
  • Develop professional working relationships, in particular ensuring close communication with Field Sales on all account management matters
  • Maintain all the systems, procedures and practices which support the sales and customer service function
  • Record all customer complaints on the Complaint Notification systems. Investigate, resolve and close within agreed timescales
  • Monitor and evaluate personal performance to enhance individual / team results in line with departmental KPI’s.

To be successful, you’ll have an excellent telephone manner dealing with queries and using an ERP system.

You’ll be experienced working in a fast-paced customer service environment dealing with volume calls and emails and being adaptable as and when required.
