Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Level 2We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Administration Apprentice to join our busy Minor Injury/Outpatients Department and Wards, Administration team within NHS Somerset Foundation Trust.
This post will be based at Burnham on Sea War Memorial Hospital 37.5 hrs a week, with protected study time to complete Customer Service Practitioner Level 2.
We require a conscientious candidate and who is eager to learn and can cope with the pressure of a busy hospital. Good communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to provide a friendly and efficient front desk.
An outgoing personality, approachability and professional demeanor will be required as you will be required as you will be the initial point of contact for our patients and visitors as well as assisting consultants and other hospital staff.
Full training for the post and a uniform will be provided.
As part of your learning you will complete an educational pathway with Bridgwater and Taunton College, which we will fully support you with.
Bridgwater and Taunton College is located across two primary sites but the majority of your delivery will be supported online, through asynchronous study. You will be allocated a college academic mentor for the duration of your programme who will work with both you and your line manager to identify opportunities for growth and development and you will also attend a series of workshops to support knowledge development in business administration.
This is a fixed term contract for 18 months, gaining valuable work experience in Customer Services and a Level 2 qualification.
Salary Information for Apprentices
Year one of Apprenticeship: £8,385 per annum, pro rata -all age groups
Year two of Apprenticeship: age related if applicable
19 - 20 years: £12,792 per annum, pro rata
21 - 22 years: £16,302 per annum, pro rata
23 and over: £17,374.50 per annum, pro rata
Please note: If you are successful for interview, you will be required to bring the following with you: Proof of any essential qualifications stated on the Job Description, proof of NHS payslip if coming from another NHS Organisation and all ID to prove your identity and Right to Work (More details will follow for successful applicants invited to interview)
