Right now, we’re on the lookout for Customer Service Assistants to help create magical memories at Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park!

About The Role

In these varied roles you may be the first point of contact for our guests, offering a warm welcome, whether selling a memento of our guests amazing experience or supporting them to stock up on SEA LIFE related goodies, answering any questions guests may have and acting as a sales representative. You could be working on the front line in our proud to serve Costa Coffee shop Cafe at Bandstand Bites or over at the Caribbean Cove Adventure Play Area, catering for our day visitors, kids’ parties or for special events.

You’ll go out of your way to ensure our guests have a fun, educational and exciting visit. You could find yourself helping customers at any point throughout the attraction! You will have strong communication skills coupled with the ability to interact with our guests, plenty of enthusiasm and energy, and be a reliable team player.

All team members are multi skilled across all our departments, therefore you may be trained and get to work in another part of our attraction.

These are seasonal, temporary, fixed term positions to support us during the main 2021 season. Contracts will start from mid-July up until November.

Due to the continued uncertainty regarding the impact Covid-19 may have on our attractions this year, all our seasonal roles will be offered on a flexible ‘as and when required’ basis, as availability of work may vary throughout the season.

About You

It goes without saying that you’ll have loads of experience working in a customer facing environment that puts the customer at the heart of everything. You’ll be able to demonstrate how your customer service skills are second to none and that you’re a natural when it comes to interacting with people of all ages. You will also need to be flexible and highly self-motivated to remain focused in this fast paced and fun environment.

We offer the following rates of pay;

• Under 18: £6.50 p/h
• 18 to 20: £7.75/hr
• 21 to 22: £8.36/hr
• 23+: £8.91/hr

In order to comply with government guidelines, should you be successful in your application interviews may be conducted initially via telephone or video call. If requested to attend one of our attractions for a face-to-face interview, we have hygiene and safety measures in place, and you will be asked to adhere to these.

These will include but not be limited to, social distancing, non-invasive temperature checks, face masks and the use of hand sanitisers.
