The Role

NFU Mutual’s agency in Stirling is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor.

The Role


  • Handling general customer enquiries, policy alterations and renewals by phone.

  • Selling new NFU Mutual insurance policies; with a focus on home and car insurance.

  • Introducing NFU Mutual Financial Services products to new and existing customers.


What we’re looking for:


  • People who can demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to our existing and prospective clients.

  • A proficient IT user with good interpersonal skills and communication skills.

  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving and solution finding and like working in a customer support and sales environment. You will enjoy meeting compliance requirements and having a meticulous eye for detail is essential.

  • Minimum of Grade 3 in Standard Grade Maths and English (or equivalent i.e. GSCE grade C).


The position is based in the Stirling Office, which has ample car parking and is conveniently located not far off the motorway.


Whether you are a school leaver looking to start your next chapter, or just looking for a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you. While previous experience within the insurance or financial industry is a benefit, it’s not essential as you will receive full training. We would anticipate training including gaining your insurance product licences to take 12 months to become fully competent in the role.


Salary dependant on suitability and experience. 31 days holidays including bank holidays.
