Customer Experience Engineer

We are the Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team- an Engineering team of customer-obsessed & passionate individuals based across EMEA that drive positive customer outcomes and experiences in a remote delivery model.

FastTrack for Azure (FTA) is a customer success service that helps customers confidently onboard to Azure and get them on the right track to build it right and architect it right, the first time. FTA takes a solution-centric approach and provides customers with Engineering resources, best practices and tools that drive Azure adoption and success.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on well-defined customer projects and/or engagements, focusing on learning about customer needs and challenges in the customer journey and using that knowledge to identify adoption gaps and challenges to enable FTA to continuously refine scenario prioritization and customer engagement scope.
• Contribute to broader ecosystem to enhance existing customer and partner capabilities by contributing insights and content to channels such as Microsoft Learn, Azure Docs, Azure Advisor, and envision new AI assisted methods for preventing, predicting, and addressing adoption challenges and improve the overall customer journey.
• Exhibit technical expertise by actively participating in the FTA engineers community leveraging technical skills and sharing knowledge and experience with peers.
• Collaborate with the project team to engage, by delivering customer success projects, to deliver impactful learnings and improvements for all, while maintaining technical excellence, providing architectural and technical solution guidance.
• Ensure quality and efficiencies in delivery, by contributing to initiatives that improve FTA and by maintaining high data quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

• Practical hands-on and architectural experience with public cloud hyperscalers
• Track record of managing projects both as an individual and as part of a team
• Experience working with enterprise customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with corporate customers by having excellent customer service skills, good oral and written communication.

And it is a plus if you bring any of the following:

• Experience in defining Azure Compute, Storage and Virtual Networks
• Linux, Kubernetes and OSS experience
• A solid understanding of cloud fundamentals, such as Governance, Security & Monitoring
• Familiarity with Automation Development frameworks (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, etc.)
• Knowledge of conceptual or solutions architecture of Azure data and integration platform services

• Experience working as a Technical Consultant or Architect with a mix of hands-on, technical lead- and or architecture roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Consulting and/or Delivery experience
• Growth mindset and passionate learner: implementing practices from others; trying, failing and learning from that; sharing practices and knowledge for others’ benefit required.
