Since 1989, we have enabled our customers to invest in their futures by delivering secure, accurate and efficient assessment, payment and repayment services.The Communications Analyst plays a critical role in the continuous transfer of information between projects and the delivery teams. Our team of analysts are active across all business areas and initiatives and provide subject matter expertise to guide and shape all projects and BAU activities.To do this, they must understand the needs of the customer and impact that changes to policy, processes and products have on the customer experience regardless of communications channel. They are expected to recommend customer friendly communications approaches and effective service design solutions that can be measured and tracked. They champion our customers but understand the business and policy change drivers and can provide pragmatic and critical feedback to support positive outcomes.They will be responsible for ensuring that analytics and feedback is built into proposals and working with others in the team to capture the impact of change and analyse, document and support the delivery of customer focussed solutions into Marketing and all other dependent areas of SLC.SLC offer a Blend working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.What You Bring
  • Very strong research, analysis and problem-solving skills alongside strong verbal and written communication skills,
  • Ability to understand and use complex business, strategic and technical concepts to identify and develop effective and appropriate models, solutions and services to meet business and customer needs,
  • Very strong planning, negotiation and organisational skills, preferably with experience of managing or participating in projects with complex and conflicting requirements,
  • Strong knowledge of SLC organisation, operations, procedures and processes,
  • Good awareness of wider political and stakeholder environments,
  • Ability to manage own time and take complete ownership of workload to achieve agreed objectives with little requirement for supervision,
  • Proven ability to work flexibly across different project methodologies, including the ability to prioritise time and workload,
  • Previous experience within an analytical, product management or communications role would be an advantage, as would a demonstrable knowledge of Marketing and Campaign techniques.
