Due to continued growth we are on the lookout for a Customer Capability Manager to work at our bustling Slough site within the Mars Wrigley segment. The role is particularly suited to somebody incredibly self-driven who has sales capability from previous experience, confidence and evidenced stakeholder management.

The role

The Customer Capability Manager role is responsible for supporting the sales organisation in building the Associate customer capability needed to win with customers and deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience. The role is accountable for deploying global learning solutions to the sales functions and working closely with the Customer Capability Leaders to address and administer local learning needs.

  • You’ll ideally have experience from within a selling role; having a full understanding of the sales process and how to successfully deliver

What would be your key responsibilities?
  • In line with the Capability Strategy and the needs of the local market, you’ll address learning needs, executing global learning tools and materials.
  • You’ll support the Customer Capability Head and Leaders with embedding the Sales Functional Competency Framework to ensure that it is living across the unit and holistic capability development needs are incorporated into Associates’ PDP’s. Also supports with development and deployment of strategically identified learning pathways for the market.
  • You’ll works closely with internal stakeholders to identify future potential capability requirements and ensure these are fed back to relevant capability communities to use as input into future capability design thinking
  • You’ll monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of capability-building activities to assess the value added to individuals, teams and the business and use insights to drive continuous improvement
  • You’ll Support and encourage a Global first mindset to capability building within the unit which leverages and reinforces the Global capability tools and materials and minimizes the need for local development and adaptation of learning solutions
  • Where Global capability solutions are not available to meet local learning needs, you’ll partner with the MWC Capability Head, to lead the design development and delivery of development programs
  • You’ll build the confidence and command skills to align senior stakeholders on capability plans, lead sessions, engage large groups and strongly facilitate to ensure effective outcomes from training/workshops. There is also a need to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ask the right questions to diagnose needs; being creative in utilising/amending materials and proposing solutions
  • You’ll manage a small amount of the administration of training in the key systems and reporting
