The CT department at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital is looking for a professional and enthusiastic Radiographer with a commitment to patient care to join our friendly and dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in CT and also experience of working within the NHS. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience in radiography post qualification and be HCPC registered.

We have recently undergone a redevelopment programme and have two new Canon CT scanners, and a Philips MR Insignia 1.5T with a shared control room. We also have an additional Canon Prime CT scanner at our Community Diagnostic Centre Hospital at Andover.

We undertake a variety of examinations including Neuro, MSK, and Oncology, Cardiac Angiography. We are a dedicated Stroke Centre and work closely within the multidisciplinary team.

We operate a seven day service with cross-sectional Radiographers working as a team with the General Radiographers out of hours.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week variable shifts and candidates will be expected to participate in the out of hour’s rota which includes weekends and nightshifts.

We are a friendly Radiology Department who undertake in excess of 340,000 examinations per year. The main facility is at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital and a satellite department at Andover War Memorial Hospital. The largest demand is in CT, MR and US.
