The client is a family owned business in St. Albans that sells timber and building materials to both trade and DIY sectors. First formed in the 1920’s, the client now has over 25 branches and near to 800 employees. The client has grown rapidly over the last 2 years and further expansion is likely in the coming years.

Key Responsibilities Include

Job Description
  • Opening credit accounts
  • Ensuring credit applications are completed correctly
  • Analysing financial data
  • risk assessing customers and setting credit limits
  • Sending out statements, invoices & credits
  • Credit increases/decreases
  • Assisting the credit team with account collections

  • Great interpersonal skills
  • excellent communicating and influencing skills
  • Good excel and word
  • Ability to learn the balance sheet & P&L accounts
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
