Job content

To coordinate all aspects of the ‘Create to Innovate’ project to Links members as described below.

To design and provide meaningful creative sessions for Links members.

To coordinate a yearly programme of members creative exhibitions, awareness raising events, monthly outreach community workshops and family/carers information workshops.

To train, guide and support participants in some of the following skills (according to own experience) – creative expression to include a variety of craft forms, personal development, healthy lifestyles.

To facilitate groups in both informal and accredited training.

Oversee member led publicity events, poster design, and exhibition flyer distribution.

Coordinate the creative enterprise project in which members will;

Create pieces of work in all aspects of creativity using a variety of media.

Organise exhibitions/awareness raising events to display and sell their work within a range of community and public venues.

Support development of internal newsletter and the Links social media channels.

Support development of

information and literature for people with mental illness to enable them to support themselves,

information and materials for their families, and carers to help gain a better understanding and to enable them to provide appropriate support.

Organise and promote training, talks and events from other organisations.

To support participants in the marketing of the items which they produce.

To drive forward new member initiatives and support growth and development of services that enhance member experience.

To capture member case studies and journeys for reporting, awareness, and publicity.

To work with the team to provide an environment which is welcoming and supportive and which gives participants the opportunity to take part in activities which promote self-confidence and self-esteem.

To ensure all paperwork and recording is commensurate with Links procedures.

To keep an open line of communication with other Links staff; to ensure that this provision is one that is complementary to other services available to members.

Conduct risk assessments where appropriate.

To undergo an induction programme.

To participate in and oversee staff supervisions.

To participate in training.

To adhere to Links policies.

To contribute to the external promotion of the service.

To attend team meetings and planning groups as required.

To maintain confidentiality, observe data protection and safeguarding associated guidelines.

To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibilities of the post.
