Counselling Lecturer - Level 2

Salary: Up to £31.59 per hour

Contract Type: Zero Hours & Fixed-Term

SGS College’s highly successful Counselling Programme Area has an exciting opportunity for a Counselling Lecturer to join the team at our Filton campus.

The successful candidate will be required to have current supervised client work and a desire to teach others embarking on their counselling training. You will also have the opportunity to undergo TAQA Assessors Award.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Delivery of the Level 2 qualification in Counselling
  • Organisation and teaching of the course, assessments, preparation and skills feedback
  • The Level 2 course is primarily classroom-based delivery with some remote delivery (18 weeks delivery and 2 weeks are learner reflective study)
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
  • Diploma in Counselling
  • Knowledge of Counselling approaches, particularly humanistic and specifically person-centred is required
