THE VACANCY

OVERALL SUMMARY

Join the rapidly growing Close Brothers Vehicle Hire Team in this newly created role, where you will work closely with our key manufacturers & suppliers to support the business in the identity, capture & reporting of all warranty, loss of use & goodwill claims.

You will ensure the business maximises every opportunity in line with SLA’s and technical requirements of our mixed fleet. To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working with or for commercial vehicle dealers and specific knowledge of existing warranty & goodwill programmes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifying opportunities for recouping of direct costs in relation to supplier & manufacturer agreements.
• Controlling the efficiencies & processes for cost recovery, & recharge application whilst tracking, monitoring & reporting all activity levels
• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Procurement and Finance to input to agree upon & fully understand processes & expectation of cost capture & revenue generation.
• Identify and support the implementation of opportunities to reduce costs.
• Have direct & indirect communication with manufacturers to ensure that CBVH achieve an appropriate level of support from all entitlement programmes.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

• Have in depth knowledge and commercial awareness the fleet sector as well as current transport legislation.
• Knowledge of existing warranty & goodwill programmes preferred.
• You’ll have strong and effective negotiation skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
• Working experience of Microsoft Office products including SharePoint, Excel and Word.
• Ability to analyse and manipulate data, to use in delivering best in class service and cost reduction opportunities.
• You’ll be passionate about improving costs and efficiencies and excited about joining our growing team!
