LR is looking to hire a contractor EU&UK MRV Regulation Lead Verifier to be based in the UK.

Key duties of the role include:
  • Delivering EU&UK MRV Monitoring Plan Assessment & Emissions Report verification adhering to LR and statutory deadlines
  • Maintaining a professional attitude ensuring that guidance is provided to clients where needed acting as a source of expertise on regulatory requirements (no consultancy work delivered)
  • Overseeing the work of team members where required to ensure the work is completed on time
  • Supervising verifiers under training if and when needed providing appropriate guidance and support
  • Managing and being accountable for each task assigned ensuring deliverables are available to the client on time

Here’s what you will need:
  • Degree in science or similar discipline or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of related professional experience in delivering MRV Monitoring Plan Assessment & Emissions Report verification
  • Ability to work independently, as a team leader or as a team member
  • Proof of EU&UK MRV training and Lead Verifier & Technical reviewer status
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Commercial awareness in a rapidly changing sector
  • Maritime sector knowledge or background is necessary
