Sanderson are working with our client to help them recruit a contract Head of IT Development on what will be an initial 12 month contract.

You will need to be an experienced leader with a solid technical and agile background so you will be in a position to lead, shape and develop our clients software development team adding value not just to their clients but key stakeholders as well.

Ideally you will have a background in leading multiple teams and million pound budgets in an agile environment on a BAU perspective whilst at the same time looking at newer agile transformations across a broad range of different business sectors. You will also take responsibility for helping to recruit and build the team whilst helping to mentor, develop and lead the current team

This is an excellent opportunity to help our client on a exciting journey and implement technical strategies for the long term

Based in the central belt it will be remote working for the foreseeable future however you may have to spend 1-2 days a month on site.
