We have a great opportunity for a Continuous Improvements Professional to join our team. You will have strong CI experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment. This role will be based at either our Stonehouse, Royston or Havant site.

This is a newly created opportunity for an experienced Continuous Improvements Professional to join our Bioprocessing Division and to oversee activities across manufacturing sites in the UK |Stonehouse, Royston, Havant| and Yauco |Puerto Rico|. You will be part of an international team of CI professionals, driving Lean Six Sigma initiatives and large-scale projects. You will be working closely with leadership teams from local sites, managers from different functions: supply chain, engineering, quality and others.

This role is based at one of our sites in the UK: Stonehouse, Royston or Havant.

What you will accomplish together with us:

  • Working with the site leadership teams to develop and implement the continuous improvement strategy

  • Identifying potential opportunities for continuous improvement activities

  • Building a continuous improvement | Lean culture to drive change

  • Driving CI initiatives and projects

  • Providing training and mentoring schemes and expertise to different teams

  • Providing regular reports and presenting progress to senior management as required

  • Ensuring alignment of activities across different sites

What will convince us:

  • Ideally educated to a degree level in bioengineering, mechanical/ electrical engineering or equivalent

  • Strong previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing/ engineering environment

  • Expert knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology and large-scale Lean projects

  • Project management skills

  • Capable of training and mentoring others and leading project teams

  • Strong communicator and influencer, able to deal with people at all levels

  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure
