We have a great opportunity for an Analyst to join our team in Glasgow. You will have a degree in a relevant life science discipline and experience with compliance and lab protocols.We are recruiting for an experienced scientist to join our team in Glasgow. You will ideally have a background/knowledge of working in a laboratory with setting up bioassays and with knowledge of lab processes, quality standards and compliance requirements. Knowledge of Elisa and working with cell culture in general would be a strong preference. This team works on a variety of projects, so you will be able to learn a lot and have an interesting and varied workload.
About the position:
Working closely within the team to ensure that client timelines are met and an excellent service level is maintained
Preparing cell culture, media and buffers, working with different assay techniques performing different methods to a high standard
Collaborating with colleagues from other parts of the business on projects
Contributing to the day to day maintenance of the laboratories and facility
Contributing to problem solving and troubleshooting
Ensuring compliance is adhered to and working with the quality department to address any potential issues
Ensuring all health & safety regulations are adhered to
About you:
A degree in a relevant life scientific discipline or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience in cell culture preparation, bioassays and Elisa technique is preferred
Capable of thriving in a scientifically challenging environment and can bring projects to the final stage
Experience in compliance and lab protocols
Capable of working independently and within a team
Strong analytical and organisational skills
In order to commence working with us, the successful candidate will need the right to work in the UK.
