Our client a leading UK manufacturer of soft furnishings and upholstery, who prides themselves on producing premium products, to ensure long-term partnerships are formed. Due to continued success, they are looking for a Continuous Improvement /Lean Transformation Managerto join their already established team.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

  • Driving productivity and competitiveness through an ambitious transformation programme which individually tailors and delivers an intense and integrated holistic programme of Lean training, coaching and mentoring to achieve sustainable world class levels of performance.
  • Implementing a transformation programme focusing predominantly on strategy, leadership, culture and facilitating ‘hands-on’ operational capability underpinned by a long-term training and development program at all levels within the business.
  • Providing the effective coaching / mentoring of the transformation program to embed sustainable change.

Requirements:

  • Best in class continuous improvement experience
  • Demonstrable track record at senior operations management / leadership levels including the delivery of significant quantitative bottom-line results
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and building a Lean/business transformation program with deep expertise in developing, coaching, and mentoring leaders at all levels but especially manufacturing manager/supervisors.
  • Ability to influence without authority and a passion for seeing others succeed
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical and business acumen skills will have been central to your track record of performance improvement to date
  • All the fundamentals are in place for a Business Transformation Coach who has ‘been there’ and can ‘speak from experience’ to enjoy a stimulating career move.
