Purpose of role: To utilise and improve world class manufacturing practices optimising overall operational performance, embedding LEAN and Six Sigma methodology to deliver measurable improvements within all areas of the operations. Key Areas of Accountability:-Analyse current practices and identify improvement projects within Operations in line with overall business strategy and OKRs.
  • Plan, facilitate and execute kaizen events.
  • Scope out improvement plans with clear objectives and KPIs to measure success.
  • Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Warehousing, HSQE, Production and Process Engineering and other key stakeholders to drive improvement and change projects.
  • Work closely with colleagues in EMEA and North America to align best practice across the Global Supply Chain.
  • Support with the design and delivery of internal CI communications and training, providing mentorship and guidance to managers and supervisors.
  • Create and update statistical reports and analysis.
  • There will be some European travel required. Person Specification: skills, experience & qualifications required.
  • Strong previous experience of delivering LEAN Six Sigma and best manufacturing principles.
  • Proven track record of achievement in continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in project management and implementing change, while focusing on customer led outcomes that drive business results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and WMS systems.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering change in a complex operating environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
