Role Overview

Developing content marketing campaigns that generate marketing qualified leads and use appropriate media for each stage of the buying journey to promote our products, services, solutions and offerings to both existing and prospective customers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage and deliver demand generation and content marketing campaigns on time, within budget and to high quality. Partnering effectively with key stakeholders across the global business.
  • Meet campaign targets for sales leads and marketing ROI.
  • Contribute to managing and improving marketing processes, demand generation tools and reporting.
  • Developing impactful content for a wide range of channels and formats, not limited to but including white-papers, thought leadership articles/blogs, webinars, case studies, website content/campaigns and print marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise, plan and produce demand generation and content marketing campaigns that generate sales leads for our sales divisions. Promoting our products, services and solutions.
  • From social listening data target thought leadership topics and produce content marketing campaigns that deliver sales leads and marketing ROI.
  • Support brand, strategic, industry and customer focused marketing activity.
  • Contribute to managing marketing automation platform and nurturing MQLs.
  • Proactively asking the right questions in order to understand the customer buying journey and prepare value propositions for each campaign and recommend ideas to generate the maximum MQLs.
  • Develop targeted campaigns, using briefs that maximise campaign effectiveness for generating sales leads.
  • Regularly monitor and report on campaign marketing ROI, identifying where improvement is necessary and either taking action or seeking guidance as appropriate.
  • Critically evaluate creative proposals against agreed campaign brief, making recommendations and ensuring ideas are approved.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key areas of the business to deliver successful integrated campaigns.
  • Write engaging and compelling campaign content. Proof read campaign collateral, including on/offline content.
  • Ensure all campaigns have appropriate briefs, schedules and stakeholder communications which are managed and reviewed.
  • Ensure the brand and reputation of Spirax Sarco are enhanced through the production of consistent marketing material.
  • Suggest agile process improvements to streamline the systems and ways of working with other departments.
  • Ensure all campaign activity, processes and partner relationships are GDPR compliant.
  • Identify new opportunities and media to communicate/deliver our messages.

Collaboration and Cooperation

  • Actively partner with divisional, regional and local marketing community to ensure the successful deployment of marketing programs.
  • Working closely and collaboratively with colleagues across Steam Business Development (SBD) and sales operating companies in particular the Digital marketing team and Design Studio to implement global campaigns.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a content marketing role in a fast paced industrial B2B marketing environment.
  • Experience of developing content to drive demand generation and sales campaigns that have generated marketing ROI and marketing qualified leads.
  • Experience in producing fully integrated campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of current marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
  • Ability to produce engaging and compelling content from understanding customer buyer journeys and value propositions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent proof reading skills.
  • Proactive and keen problem solver who enjoys overcoming challenges.
  • Highly organised and well planned – but able to be reactive to maximise opportunities.
  • Passion for content development and storytelling.
