Contiem is seeking a Content Engineer to support the development of XML-based solutions, as outlined below.


Experience and Skills:

  • Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Ability to legally work in the U.K.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
  • Knowledgeable of print and electronic product publishing processes.
  • Industry experience working with organizations in the Publishing, Media, Education, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, Legal, Public-Sector domains.
  • Advanced knowledge of XML and related standards like DITA, XSLT/XSLFO.
  • Advanced knowledge of XML technologies such as CCMS systems, XML editors (Oxygen, XMetal) and XSL software.
  • Development (DTD/Schema and XSLT).
  • Strong attention to detail, including the ability to accurately follow detailed instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Computer savvy enough to develop new computer skills as needed.
  • Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
  • Reliable, tactful, and diplomatic.
