A fantastic opportunity to join a brand new state of the art precast factory in Melton Mowbray!

  • Role: Skilled Precast Concrete Operative
  • Location: Melton Mowbray (LE14)
  • Rate of pay: £14.00 plus holiday pay (increases to £15.00 after 3 months)
  • Hours:Day shifts - Staggered starts from 6am for a 9 hour shifts
  • No CSCS card required
  • Must have at least 1 years experience working within a pre cast factory

Duties

  • Manufacturing precast concrete beams for the UK’s largest infrastructure project
  • Make up reinforcement cages
  • Concrete mould opening/ de-moulding and cleaning
  • Strand tensioning
  • Casting
  • De-tensioning, de-moulding
  • Repairing/ sandblast on beam edges
  • Steel unloading/ coils loading
  • Operating Gantry crane

Requirements

  • You will be required to wear full PPE (hard hat, high vis & Steel toe cap boots)
  • MUST have concrete labouring experience
  • MUST have own transport due to location
  • MUST have the right to work in the UK
