Derby Homes are recruiting to the post of Concierge in our only tower block. This is a great opportunity to gain experience of an exciting, interesting and varied career. The role involves providing some security work at our main depot, health and safety compliance checks at our Supported Living complexes, and an on-site presence at Rivermead House, providing customer service and some building compliance checks and simple maintenance.

This role involves evening and weekend work. Working in Housing you will get to help people in so many different ways and you will always keep on learning. We want applications from caring people who want to make a difference and deliver a great service to Council tenants.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

  • provide a frontline housing service to customers in the community
  • offer sound advice and a comprehensive level of customer service to the public on all aspects of housing management
  • carry out building compliance checks, on site security and general maintenance tasks
