Job Title: Compliance Manager

Location(s):Hybrid and must be willing to travel to one of our sites in the UK (Glenrothes, Livingston, Manchester, Broughton or Harlow)

Summary Of Role

Responsible for delivering an enterprise-wide approach to Management System compliance and improvement through the development of our BMS. This role line-reports to the Head of Quality & Mission Assurance

This role is also responsible for leading the management and execution of the compliance audit program.

Main Duties
  • Define and deliver an Improvement plan to make our BMS more effective and user friendly, with clear functional correlation and accountability
  • Support the establishment and management of the Raytheon UK Independent internal audit programme across all mission areas and functions ensuring process compliance to the company business management system, corporate and regulatory requirements. Identify and report business risk
  • Establish a compliance report for all enterprise compliance needs
  • Conduct quality investigations in the event of management system, regulatory system or process failures at the request of the Quality Function or Leadership team
  • Work with site representatives to provide support where needed for professional/regulatory body activities
  • Establish KPIs that report on the performance of the company business management systems
  • Coach, mentor and train relevant stakeholders in Quality Systems
  • Continue to develop the function through Collaboration with key stakeholders

  • Strong leadership and ability to influence business leaders
  • Experience of leading teams in matrixed environments
  • Passionate, high-energy, self-starting team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement
  • Thorough understanding of business operations and the associated processes & systems
  • Strong ability to effectively analyse, understand and develop performance metrics
Desirable
  • Six Sigma Expert certification (black belt) or higher
  • Technical / Engineering qualification and background
  • Experience and understanding of winning new business
  • Related professional body membership(s)
