We are looking to recruit a Compliance Advisor to join our Agricultural Engineering business based in Cheshire Responsibilities to include the full range of HR and HSEQ matters: Employment documentation including job descriptions Recruitment, induction and onboarding Planning staff training and development Working with Managers to ensure compliance with procedures and policies Implementation of employee-related Health and Safety requirements Ad-hoc related duties related to the broader HR function of the business Develop, create and review of all aspects of the company’s health, safety and environmental procedures Obtain and maintain CE / UKCA certification across the new and existing product range Obtain and maintain ISO Certifications in-line with the company’s systems and structure, ensuring best practice across the various business functions, systems and sites Review and development of safe systems of work and risk assessments Monitoring, evaluation and review of current systems to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice Work proactively with the line managers to establish and maintain a programme of continuous improvement in the management of Health Safety and Environmental procedures The ideal candidate will have: Experience of working in a generalist HR environment, in addition to a Health & Safety led role CIPD graduate or working towards Level 5 CIPD IOSH qualified and ideally NEBOSH Other responsibilities and duties: Experience of supporting managers across a variety of departments at different levels in aspects of compliance. Organised and methodical approach to administration and record keeping Excellent IT Skills Good negotiating and influencing skills in implementing policies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential Ability to research, evaluate and analyse new techniques, methods, and procedures in relevant areas of the business Due to the location, you will require a full driver’s licence and use of own car.
