Based in either Orpington or London, Marsh’s Market Information Group (MIG) is responsible for setting the global security framework and the review of markets with which Marsh places its client’s programs.The Intermediary Analyst will form a key member of the Market Information Group team, responsible for the coordination and review of our third party intermediaries globally.What can you expect?



  • Marsh’s Market Information Group (MIG) is responsible for setting the global security framework and the review of markets with which Marsh places its client’s programs
  • You will be joining the team at the inception of a significant, high profile global project
  • To gain an understanding our governance framework, how and why we utilize intermediaries and interpret the information that supports this process
  • You will join a global team of experienced analysts with the UK team being based in London and Orpington, consisting of 5 team members
  • You will be given significant training and support to enable you to fulfil the requirements of this exciting role

We will rely on you to:



  • Classify intermediaries in order to perform due diligence including the review of binding authority extracts and Letters of Authority
  • Undertake initial and ongoing reviews of intermediaries required globally to ensure they are authorised to underwrite on behalf of the delegated risk carrier principles
  • Maintenance of the approval master database to ensure intermediary details are correctly recorded and visible to the business
  • Liaise with Brokers and deal with approval requests and enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with oversight and governance of the intermediary process and reporting
  • Manage multiple projects and delivery schedule with high standards of accuracy and quality
  • Manage work flow to ensure that all tasks within are completed within the specified deadlines
  • Demonstrate a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge acquisition and sharing and team spirit

  • Advanced skills in MS Office specifically Excel
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
