We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as our Compliance Advisor,based at our European Head office in Gravesend, Kent.Joining us on a full time, permanent basis (Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5.30pm), you will receive a competitive salary.

Responsibilities as ourCompliance Advisor are to:

  • To provide chemical regulatory support within the Technical Department to ensure current and new products meet regulatory obligations in the markets that we operate in- UK, EU, Russia, China and other international markets
  • Communicate updates across business units to get engagement and alignment for efficient completion of compliance projects
  • Take ownership or assist with investigation and resolution of any potential non-compliance
  • Support Sales to resolve customer or tender specific questions or requirements
  • Engage with industry to understand and track regulatory trends and developments
  • Support SDS compliance using software (MSDgen) to generate and update files to meet all regional requirements
  • Complete and maintain product regulatory registrations.
  • Ensure marketing material contains correct H&S information and other regional requirements

Skills required of our Compliance Advisor:

  • University degree or equivalent (ideally in science or chemicals)
  • Experience working in a role related to chemical regulatory compliance
  • Ability to communicate information effectively across different business units
  • Experience of SDS software such as MSDgen (desirable)
  • Experience of regional REACH requirements and the impact on downstream manufactures (desirable)
  • Knowledge of products and chemicals related to the lubricant industry (desirable)
