Community Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care

Job Description

37 Hours per week

We have an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our established team comprising an Occupational Therapy Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Pracitioner, Community Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistant. You will be part of a wider multi-disciplinary service which aims to provide comprehensive, integrated assessments for older adults and people with physical disabilities. You will have a pivotal role in our community care services by carrying out strength-based and outcome-focussed functional assessments aiming to maximise independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

You will need to be enthusiastic, imaginative, enjoy the challenge of problem solving and working with people in a community setting. You will need to utilise a broad range of Occupational Therapy skills as you will be working closely with people who have a wide range of disabilities and ages, their carers and families.

We will be committed to enhancing your skills and professional development with structured induction, peer group support, professional supervision and by providing a wide range of training and development opportunities.
