We are looking for CLD workers who will support our community-based activities throughout the year.You will be supporting our communities to be strong, with a voice and the capacity to shape and build on strengths and assets.

Working as part of a team, you will support the development and delivery of youth work activities with individuals, groups and communities in neighbourhoods across Renfrewshire e.
  • Youth projects and clubs
  • Holiday programmes
  • Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Programme
  • Community projects
  • Working with volunteers
It is essential that you have experience of working with young people, adults or families in a community setting as well as working in the community with a range of agencies and community groups. You will have an ability to work effectively with partner organisations

You will also have effective communication skills; a positive and flexible approach to work, and be open to learning new skills. It would be desirable to have any of the following: IT skills; specialist areas of work (e.g. drama, crafts; outdoor, etc), a driving licence and experience of driving minibuses (D1); outdoor qualifications, volunteering experience.
