The Role
We require an enthusiastic and engaging person to join the Inspiring Choices outreach programme. The programme is part of a national government funded initiative that offers activities, advice, information and guidance on the benefits and realities of going to college and/or university.
The post holder will deliver our Communications and Signposting strategy engaging with our students, schools and communities through our social media platforms, website, attendance at school careers fairs and writing regular newsletters. The second part of the role is to undertake general administrative tasks to support the programme’s finance processes. We expect that the split would be 80% on the communications and signposting elements of the role and 20% on finance admin.
Required Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone with admin experience, who will have excellent attention to detail, enjoy designing and creating content, be a strong team player, and an effective communicator.
Additional Information
The post will be based at York St John University with potential for home working to be agreed with the successful candidate. There is a requirement to work on a flexible basis, including regular travel to locations within North Yorkshire and occasional evening/weekends.
