Pertemps are delighted to be working with our public sector client to recruit for an Employee Communications Officer to join them on a temporary basis.

Role - Employee Communications Officer
Location - Edinburgh City Centre / Home Working
Duration - until March 2022 with possible extension
Hours - Monday - Friday, 36 hours a week
Pay - £16.76 - 20.01 depending on experience

Our client’s award-winning communications team are looking for an Employee Communications Officer who has professional experience in developing and delivering internal, change management and stakeholder communications strategies and action plans.

Our client are currently going through a significant period of cultural and organisational change and have recently launched Our Future Work strategy, which will help create a more flexible and modern organisation by giving colleagues more flexibility in how and where they work.

The successful candidate will join a small but effective employee communications team who are responsible for communicating and engaging with 19,000 colleagues across the city in a whole range of creative ways.

You will have:
  • Proven experience in delivering internal communications and employee engagement initiatives within a large scale and complex transformation programme
  • Experience in writing and creating effective internal communications using a variety of channels, including our intranet, news site, brief notes and events
  • Enthusiasm
  • Creativity in developing new and fresh ideas
