Communications Consultant - Exeter - £365 per day

Based in Exeter a Communications Consultant is required to work on a 6 month contract.

Hybrid working is a pre-requisite for the job, with 2 per week in Exeter

£365 per day via Umbrella

Overview

  • Plan, lead and deliver specialist communication projects using both internal and external resources
  • Measure success of internal communications and engagement and adjust and amend plans in response to this feedback.
  • Liaise with and advise senior stakeholders within the Services Directorate and across the Change Team to provide communications guidance.
  • To encourage and develop initiatives that enable and improve communications between different teams, both formally and informally
  • Engage in wider internal communications activities to support the delivery of wider Strategic Actions and Anchors.

Key Skills

  • A relevant qualification in communications (or a related subject) and /or a depth of experience in strategic communications planning
  • Demonstrable ability to balance multiple complex priorities in a fast paced environment
  • An effective networker with an ability to establish mutuality beneficial long-term internal and external working relationships
  • Ability to work with, and act as an advisor to, people from a range of work-related disciplines and at different levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
