The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and creative Band 5 Communications and Engagement Officer to join its friendly, supportive and busy communications team.

You’ll be a self-starter with exceptional drive and self-motivation, who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and is able to respond to changing demands. You’ll also be a team player who has the ability to work with a wide range of people across the organisation as well as colleagues across the local and regional NHS. You’ll have strong writing skills and the ability to add creative flair to our internal and external content.

Working to a high standard, you will specifically support the internal communications and engagement agenda of the Trust but you will also contribute to our external communications. You will be responsible for supporting and implementing a wide range of communications and engagement activities including managing the intranet and contributing to the development of a new website, creating digital content, organising events, developing media opportunities and analysing communications impact.
