Commis Chef (paid travel & tips)

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic individual that will take advantage of the learning experience provided by several experienced chefs willing to share their knowledge.

The position of Commis Chef will encompass all areas of the kitchen assisting every level of chef to provide the best dining experience.

Experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate that can show aptitude and flair from the outset. You will be involved in the day to day preparation of vegetables, garnishes, salads and sauces. You will also be trained in how to plate and serve a variety of dishes plus spend valuable time learning desserts from our pastry chef.

In addition if you show us you can accomplish Commis Chef tasks well and efficiently there is chance to become a Chef de Partie and train alongside our breakfast chef.

Starting salary/hourly rate will depend on experience and age. Tips are paid out weekly and a free meal is available on long days, we also offer a paid travel allowance of £100 per month.

This role is for someone that has ambition and energy and willing to climb the kitchen ladder!
