Connect Appointments have an exciting new opportunity for a Commis Chef to join our Carnoustie based client, on a full-time permanent contract.

As a Commis your main role will be working under the Head Chef to deliver a quality dining service to customers. For this you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £19,760 per annum, plus a staff discounts, season tickets, !0% pension contribution, 31 days holiday per year and more.

Your Duties As a Commis Chef
  • Working closely with the Head Chef
  • Preparing food and running a section during meal service times
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the kitchen
  • Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and H&S legislation at all times
  • Other reasonable duties
Successful applicants for this Commis Chef role you will have a City and Guilds in Professional Cookery, or evidence of trade experience and on the job learning. It would also be advantageous to have a CIEH Food Safety Level 2; First Aid at Work Qualification.
