This is a fantastic opportunity to join comparethemarket.com (CTM) as a Commercial Finance Manager (Product). Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the Product and Commercial stakeholders responsible for these verticals proactively receive detailed, actionable insight around trading and commercial performance together with effective planning and forecasting and value adding decision support. The role will actively engage business partners to contribute, challenge and support the ongoing trading activities of the business.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
* Ensure that the business has a clear understanding of product trading performance, the best possible insight on "the why" as well implications for the future combined with the active promotion of actions required to optimise performance going forward.
* A proactive business partner, challenging and supporting the development and profit performance of products and providing support in development of proposition roadmaps as well as business cases and PIR’s
* Ensure you have an effective understanding of market dynamics and competitor performance, liaising with colleagues both within and outside of Commercial Finance (e.g. Data Insights and other members of the Commercial Finance team)
* Curious, inquisitive and proactive - this role requires a relentless drive to seek out insight and answers
* Facilitate planning processes and ensure timely submission of plans
* Third party contracts and deal structures are understood and documented and aligned with reporting
* New initiatives are supported by accurate analysis and reporting

* Demonstrable experience of working with non-financial stakeholders
* Strong influencing skills to ensure that best decisions are taken
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to share complex models with non-financial stakeholders
* Excellent business partnering skills given there are multiple stakeholders across the business
