Overview

Ventilation Megastore is a brand of Boulder Developments Limited, based out of a head office in Lincolnshire, and established in 1997.

We are passionate about creating solutions that improve the comfort and energy efficiency of homes and businesses across the UK. Our success story began with the launch of our brand Superfoil™, which quickly became a household name in the insulation market. As we continued to grow and innovate, we turned our attention to the critical issue of indoor air quality and ventilation. That’s why we created Ventilation Megastore, located in the heart of Lincoln at our 5-acre site shared across our brands, Superfoil™ & Treefloor.

In order to achieve our next stage of growth, we are looking for an individual with an ‘Intrapeneur’ mindset who is passionate and energised and is looking to create and bring in business opportunities. The person should self-driven with a strong work ethic and have a strong sales and marketing background to be the creative thinking Commercial Business Manager to head up the business unit.

This role will offer a generous profit sharing scheme, the chance to develop the strategy for the business, and be the driving force behind the growth of the business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop a sales and marketing strategy with the Director in order to develop and grow the business
  • Research and develop the wholesale and contractor market for ventilation products
  • Identify project opportunities within the leisure, residential, and hospitality sectors - building relationships with key stakeholders and offering solutions to projects
  • Develop relationships with current accounts in order to identify new sales opportunities
  • Develop and lead a team of sales personnel, both internal and external
  • Work with the wider Boulder Developments team in order to manage stock, organise deliveries etc.
  • Utilise e-commerce, social media and telesales to drive sales to the business
  • Update the internal database in order to keep track of sales
  • Follow up on sales to ensure customer satisfaction, and open opportunities for further sales
  • Accountability for the P&L for this business unit
  • Report to the director on a monthly and quarterly basis, forecasting against budget

Candidate Requirements

  • Ideally experienced within the ventilation industry, although this is not a prerequisite
  • Can be from a sales or marketing background
  • Must be driven, hard working, and a good communicator
  • Must be experienced with Microsoft office
  • This role is based within our Lincoln office so the ideal candidate should be based within a commutable distance of Lincoln.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

  • Business management: 2 years (preferred)
  • Ventilation industry knowledge: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
