Our client is an extremely reputable and growing business based in Chelmsford that offer a diverse range of services to a dedicated customer base. The business specialises in delivering these goods and services through a global network, and in turn, gives back financially to the community through charities and schools. One of their key internal brands is an insurance brokerage who are experiencing rapid growth after a fantastic 2022 and as a result, is looking to expand its team with a Commercial Account Handler. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the insurance industry and will possess excellent communication skills. Main Responsibilities

  • Your purpose is to ensure that all of your clients have their policies dealt with in an efficient and timely manner
  • Provide accurate quotations through Acturis system
  • Upload claim notification
  • Assist Account Executive and Business Development Managers with sale process by highlighting new policies
  • Provide clients with advice and updates of their policy status
  • Offer customers detailed product information
  • Deliver efficient and timely quotations through Acturis system
  • Ensure that the customer is treated fairly and receives excellent service in accordance with industry and company guidelines
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with internal & external stakeholders
  • Manage all aspects of commercial product management
  • Build relationships by working with stakeholders, within the business and with insurance partners to ensure that business targets are met
  • Evaluate products offering to ensure the strategic narrative is met
  • You must be able to demonstrate the ability to influence decisions and actions

Key Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to complete presentations
  • A good understanding of the sales process to help drive sales forward
  • Communication skills are essential
  • A solid structure of relationship management for clients
  • Excellent time management and customer centric mentality
  • Previous experience in a similar role

Additional Information

  • Hours- 9am-5pm
  • Hybrid working- 3 days in the office, 2 days remote

  • You will be reporting to the Operations Manager
