The Company

They are a privately owned sub contract manufacturer, the owners are time served machinist themselves and have put blood sweat and tears in to the business, and still to the day jump on the machines to help the team out if required. They have a modest and effective workshop with a skilled team that they are continuing to grow, and rest assured as their clients are spread across numerous industries they have a very healthy pipeline with some long term contracts.

The Job

This position is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their skills and progress up the ladder within CNC machining. As CNC operator you can expect to be operating multiple CNC machines for small production runs You may or may not be experienced with CNC machinery but either way lots of training is available for the right candidate. The work can be varied as they are a sub-contractor, but they normally have batch runs on their jobs. The role is also a Monday to Friday position with no shift required, working a 40 hour week and you will be paid hourly.

Experience

We’re very open to experience, someone from a manufacturing/engineering and some CNC background is required but doesn’t have to be extensive CNC experience as they are happy to train someone up who has the right attitude. A strong attention to detail is required as they have a structured approach to their production work so processes are very important to them to ensure they are hitting the quality requirements.
