Location: Halifax

Hours of work: Day shifts 08.00-16.30 Monday & Thursday & 08.00 -14.30 Friday

Flexibility on start and finish times

Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays & Christmas
Salary: Up to £18.50 ph- Dependant on experience

The Role:

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Miller. Our client is a leading Engineering company based in Halifax.

In your role you will be responsible for the programming, setting, and operating of a Heidenhain control CNC Miller.

Program Jobs unaided from drawings using Heidenhain control

Program jobs with 4th Axis

Load machine with Vices / Fixture

Load the tooling with correct offsets

Upload programs

Run the jobs to completion to our exacting standards

Person experience & qualifications:

Setting & programming on CNC milling machine

Reading from engineering drawings

Using measuring equipment
